Project Description

Worked with a biochemist domain expert in order to derive laboratory hardware automation requirements. Designed and implemented a pluggable laboratory instrument controller that interacted with the various values, gradient pumps and third party equipment for setting up and running experiments. The framework allowed for exact control of event timings and pump flow control, which yielded fewer errors in results and provided consistent experiment execution.
